Superhero Short - Animatic

An initial visualisation created for a short film about superheroes. This is the last scene of the film.
This animatic is for a live action film, so the usual restrictions for animation were not there, so I had to get creative in order to solve some of the issues which the director of the live action demanded.
An extremely challenging factor was that the film's style is a - one shot hand held camera. Which brings a unique feel. I tried to capture and deliver this feel to the audience, by using complex camera moves, smear shots and more, in order to get closer to a final look.
I would also like to mention the sound design, which will probably be nominated for some sort of an award soon. In any case, this extremely poor audio helps the timing a lot, whilst sparing some budget at this stage. So it was the right thing to do.
