Dragon Demicore

A character design and animation I created for the short film "Carl The Untold Story Behind The Hero Of Demicore". Competing in the 2018 Spring Digi 60 Contest.
My animation style is comical, as the short itself is humorous, but presented in a serious way. The chosen character design has silly features, which help convey the funny element over the serious text.
It has points of improvement I should work on, as there is at times too much action at the same time and other small adjustments to the acting can be made. But overall for the given time I think I've succeeded in capturing the needed emotion for this shot.
